Beginner writers and experienced poets are welcome to enter Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s 11th annual Poetry Contest. Open to current Â鶹´«Ã½ students, the contest is a chance to win a cash prize and have your poem published.
Ten poems will win. Award amounts range from $200 (first prize) to $75 (seven honorable mention prizes).
Entry deadline is 4 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2023.The contest is a prelude to Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s celebration of National Poetry Month, April 2023. View last year’s winning poets.

Entry Guidelines
Follow these guidelines to have your poem(s) judged in Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s 2023 Poetry Contest:
- Be a current Â鶹´«Ã½ student.
- Write poems of up to 20 lines (not including title).
- Submit up to three poems about any subject.
- Send your poem(s) through the submission form below by 4 p.m. on March 22.
