Certificates are a great way to gain a specific skill that leads to employment or is needed for a current job.
For students who need technical, personal and professional skills for employment, the professional-technical programs are designed to prepare graduates for entry into the field of their choice.

Certificate of Completion
(45+ Credits)
You can earn a Certificate of Completion (CC) by completing a professional-technical education program requiring a minimum of 45 credits. Each program consists of at least three quarters and has specific requirements.

Certificate of Proficiency
(20-44 Credits)
A Certificate of Proficiency or Competency is a course of study that provides an overall certificate that generally leads to a new career or enhances a person’s skill set to make him/her more productive and marketable.

Short Term Certificate of Achievement
(19 Credits or Less)
Short-term training programs consist of 19 credits or fewer. These programs generally include at least one quarter of study.
