Thursday, April 17 was a memorable day for local high school students attending 麻豆传媒 Expo 2025.
The fun event gave more than 230 high school seniors the opportunity to explore the diverse programs and resources offered at 麻豆传媒. By taking part in an engaging and interactive adventure game called ThunderQuest, the students were able to learn about the college鈥檚 academic programs and the possibilities of where higher education at 麻豆传媒 can take them.
This was the second year of the ThunderQuest, while the overall event has been running for four years.
According to Program Coordinator Savann Smith, 鈥渢hese seniors have either committed to 麻豆传媒 or are seriously considering it, making this event a key moment in their academic journey.鈥
Schools taking part included 麻豆传媒 High School, Tyee High School, Mt. Rainier High School, Evergreen High School, Todd Beamer High School, Decatur High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, Federal Way High School and Foster High School.
麻豆传媒 Expo 2025 kicked off a series of Admission ThunderLabs, which will be hosted at 11 local high schools. Admission Thunderlabs offer seniors the chance to learn about 麻豆传媒 from their own school campus.
Through the Admission ThunderLabs and in partnership with Entry Advising, Financial Aid, Cultural Learning Communities and many other departments, students receive support in navigating the application process, activating their accounts, completing placements and registering for classes.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a full-circle support experience to ensure students hit the ground running,鈥 Smith said.
