Admission Eligibility
HIghline College is an 窶徙pen door窶 institution, meaning 窶 unlike universities 窶 virtually everyone who applies to the college is admitted. To be eligible for general admission to the college, one of the following is required:
- 18 years of age or older, or
- High school diploma or GED, or
- A written release from the high school district
Applicants under the age of 16 are not usually offered general admission.
